The Criterion Collection made a lot of BadAwesome fans VERY happy today when they announced that Hausu (aka: House), the Citizen Kane of psychedelic-Asian-schoolgirl-haunted-house-evil-lampshade-demonic-cat-painting-bloodthirsty-piano movies, will be released on Blu-Ray and DVD on October 26th. I absolutely love that Janus and Criterion have given this much love and care in restoring, promoting, and releasing a film that falls so far from the norm of standard films, and have already pre-ordered a copy for the A.S.T.A.S.T.C. library!
